At Five Counties SCITT, we offer a wide range of school-based Teacher Training courses designed to give you the best possible start to your teaching career. Whether you’re interested in becoming a Primary teacher, focusing on a specialist area such as SEND, or developing expertise in a Secondary subject, our programmes provide the perfect blend of practical classroom experience and academic study.
All of our courses lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with the opportunity to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) awarded in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. With placements in diverse schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North-East Somerset, North Somerset and Somerset you’ll gain the skills, confidence, and real-world experience to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people.
